About Us
Mumineen, have been living in Columbus, Ohio and its vicinity for almost 30 years now. Known as the Corn Country of the Midwest, Columbus is the capital of Ohio. Columbus and its vicinity houses around 30 Dawoodi Bohra families. Since 2004, we the Mumineen of Columbus were blessed with the Nemat of Aamil Saheb, M. Aliasger Bhai Shk Saifuddin Rasheed, who with the farmaan of Aqa Maula (tus) started and continues to conduct Sabaqs, Majalis, Madressah, Tabudaat Amaal, Waaz and all other Deeni events. Over this time period, with the dua of Aqa Maula (Tus) we have grown into a structured Jamaat. Aqa Maula (Tus) with Nazaraat Rahimah included our small jamaat as an Anjuman, and gave it the name of Anjuman e Taheri, Columbus.

    “ Baad Afzalus Salaam. Mumineen, Mumenaat, ane Farzando.

    The Eid of Huzn and Bukaa (Ashara Mubaraka) has shadowed us, and our Beloved Maula (tus) will be showering barakaat of this azeem Eid upon all of us from Mombasa. Imam Husain ( A.S) na gham ane Matam ni aa Eid waaste Aalam-e-Imaan ma Mumineen sagla taiyyari kari rahya che. Aqa Maula (tus) has bestowed upon us the barakaat by having a Raza na Saheb perform this Khidmat of Ashara Mubarak amongst us. We humbly perform Sajadaat us Shukr in Hazrat Aaliyah. Also, Anjuman e Taheri, Columbus congratulates Mumineen, who have done niyat to do Ashara Mubaraka 1430H along with Aqa Maula (tus) in Mombasa. Mumineen are encouraged to partake in the Barakat with Aqa Moula (tus).

    Mumineen, Mumenaat and Farzando of Anjuman e Taheri, Columbus are urged to obtain Moula's Khushi and NOT to miss a single day of Waaz during these days. Aqa Maula (tus) farmawe che " Je aa Ashara Mubaraka ni waaz ni Barakat si Mehroom rahe te Duniya ane Aakherat ma Mehroom che". It is our sincere faith that whatever rozi we get is due to the Barakat and Sacrifices of Imam Husain ( S.A). May Allah Subhanahu give us yaari and Taufiq to understand the importance of Ashara Mubaraka, and to attend ALL WAAZ and gather barakaat during these days. ”
